Tony Robbins 5 Keys to Wealth and Happiness

I take no credit for this, but found it very helpful for business folks, or any other person for that matter as it resonates so much practical truth. All credit goes to Tony, I am just sharing his wisdom and changing some of the wording. You can link to the speedmindmapping with the outline for more details on this. The Link is at the end of this synopsis

Tony Robbins: 5 Keys to Wealth and Happiness
1.Handle Frustration
2.Handle Rejection
3.Handle Financial Pressure
4.Handle comfort Zone
5.Always give more than you expect to receive

Key #1: You must learn how to master frustration the more successful you get to be.

Use frustration to motivate you. The other side of frustration is success. So few people learn how to manage frustration. Learn to turn frustration into fascination.  Learn how to make a negative into a positive

“People who fail to achieve their goals usually get stopped by frustration. They allow frustration to keep them from taking  the necessary actions that would support them in achieving their desire. You get through this roadblock by plowing  through frustration, taking each setback as feedback you can learn from, and pushing ahead. I doubt you’ll find many successful people who have not experienced this. All successful people learn that success is buried on the other side of frustration.”

If you have obstacles –  then change your path.  You know when doors are closed, windows open, so keep searching for that right path.

“Stay committed to your decisions, but stay flexible in your approach.”

Sylvester  Stalone was turned down by 1000 agents! But he just kept working, and changed his strategy.

“We can change our lives. We can do, have, and be exactly what we wish.”

“Put yourself in a state of mind
where you say to yourself, “Here is an opportunity for me to celebrate like never before, my own power, my own ability to get myself to do whatever is necessary.”

“The path to success is to take massive, determined action.”

Key #2: You must learn how to manage rejection.

The key to success is receiving massive amounts of rejection. After enough rejection the tide does turn. Developing rapport and building  trust can decrease the number of rejections. Until you learn to expect rejection, you won’t experience the level of success you could. The law of averages is if you do it enough, you’re going to develop an average rate of success. How many no’s does it take to get a yes?Champions  handle frustration and rejection.

Key #3: You must learn how to handle financial pressure.

Learn to manage the money that you have, so that money becomes a tool for you rather thanyou being the tool of money. It’s not working hard that makes the difference. You got to change what’s in your head. Focus on not what you can get, but on what you can give.

In the book “The Richest Man in Babylon” by George Clason:
(a) take 10% of your money and immediately give it away
a. your unconscious believes there is more than enough
(b) take 10% and use it to reduce your debts
(c) take 10% and use it to invest, or save it to invest
The remaining 70% is to live on.

“It is not what we get. But who we become, what we contribute… that gives meaning to our lives.”

Key #4: You must learn how to handle or manage complacency.

This is a real killer – comfort zone gets involved. It sets in when you learn how to manage frustration, rejection, financial pressure. The only way you become happy is not what you get, it’s who you become.

Here’s the solution:
1. learn to judge yourself by your goals and not by your peers
2. pay careful attention to who you associate with

Key #5: Always give much more than you expect to receive.

This is the formula for wealth and happiness.  If you focus on selling you will do ok, if you focus on changing peoples lives you will have wealth.  Mother Teresa lived with the poorest of the poor, but when she needed money it was always there.  Yes, she prayed and depended totally on God, but she also focused on changing peoples lives…she loved the unlovable.  I am not saying you have to be Mother Teresa, but I do know that when I help others it reaps benefits.

The secret to living is giving.

Thanks Tony for such a well done bit of information.

  2. When is actually the apple iphone 5 ( or even the successor of the iPhone 4) expected to be released? I personally lost my iPhone 3GS a little while ago, and I was thinking if I should just obtain the iphone4 right now or wait for the apple iphone 5… As well, I heard the actual i phone 4’s display screen shatters easily enough in case you fall it w/o an incident. Is that correct?

    1. Not sure why you are posting Iphone questions here, but my brother in law was talking about getting the iphone4. If he does and has any problems, I will post. Honestly, I am more of an android person. Iphones are awesome, but I think they cost too much. My next phone might be EVO. Will see. Paula

    1. You are welcome to put this link on my site. I strongly believe that nutrition is lacking in the USA. I suspect that alot of disease is precipitated by those nasty free radicals and if we can get enough anti-oxidants in our bodies we will be overall, a lot healthier. Take care and good luck with this awesome book. Paula
